But when exactly do Wales play at the World Cup? Here are all the important diary dates for Welsh fans.

When are Wales’ group stage fixtures?

Wales’ first Group B match will be against the USA on Monday, November 21at 7pm.

Their second group game will be with Iran on Friday, November 25 at 10am.

Wales will conclude their group stage fixtures with a fierce home nations clash with on Tuesday, November 29 at 7pm.

What TV channel will the Wales games be on?

Wales’ encounter with the USA will be shown live on ITV, S4C and S4C Online.

The Wales vs Iran match will be broadcast live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, S4C and S4C Online.

The blockbuster tie with England will be available to watch on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, S4C and S4C Online.

Who could Wales play in the knockout rounds?

If Rob Page manages to guide Wales through to their first ever knock-out round at the World Cup, then the team will face one of Netherlands, Senegal and Qatar in the Round of 16.

Wales could then be set to face Argentina or France in the quarter finals, with potentially either Belgium or Portugal awaiting in the semis for a place in the final.

Spain, Germany or Brazil would likely await the victors from Wales’ side of the draw.
