are eyeing a shock move for outcast to replace club legend Hugo Lloris.

The long-serving Spurs goalkeeper is the club’s record appearance maker but is set to bring the curtain down on his 13-year stint in north London at the end of the season.

Lloris, 36, has been offered a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia where Al-Hilal are reported to be ready to offer the France World Cup winner an eye-watering €1.3 million per month.

Spurs are yet to appoint Antonio Conte’s permanent successor but whoever is appointed by Daniel Levy – – is unlikely to stand in Lloris’ way and attempt to convince him to stay.

According to , despite the absence of a new manager, Spurs are already looking to take advantage of the impending Chelsea firesale.

Mauricio Pochettino, who is on the verge of taking over at Stamford Bridge, will be tasked with trimming a bloated squad that was partly responsible for Graham Potter’s downfall.

Mendy joined Chelsea nearly three years ago upon the recommendation of Petr Cech and quickly ousted one-time club-record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga as the club’s undisputed No.1.

His performances played a key role in securing an unlikely Champions League triumph under Thomas Tuchel but his form has deteriorated rapidly over the course of the last 12 months.

Indeed, up until last weekend he hadn’t played a competitive match for Chelsea since the break for December’s World Cup and he was badly at fault for Nottingham Forest’s opening goal in last weekend’s 2-2 draw.

The 31-year-old is understood to have rejected several new contract offers and, as such, Chelsea are minded to let him leave in the summer, even if it means joining a rival.

Todd Boehly has already spent in excess of £600million since assuming control of Chelsea, but he will sanction another signficant outlay in the summer with a new earmarked goalkeeper as a priority.

Brentford’s David Raya, Porto’s Diogo Costa and Everton’s Jordan Pickford are all said to be on the west London club’s radar.
