Completesports’s ADEBOYE AMOSU appraises the performance of Super Eagles’ players in their 10-0 win against Sao Tome and Principe – an AFCON 2023 Group A qualifiying match in Agadir, Morocco on Monday, Monday, June 13 2022.

FRANCIS UZOHO 7/10
The goalkeeper was virtually on holiday during the game. He however did well to bail out his defenders a couple of times.

OLA AINA 8/10
The Torino defender has no doubt made the right-back position his own. Aina made a number incisive passes and was a delight to watch.

SEMI AJAYI 7/10
The centre-back started his fourth consecutive game under new manager Jose Peseiro. Certainly proved he is ready for the big stage.

CALVIN BASSEY 8/10
Nearly committed a blunder in the second half, otherwise, it was another commanding display from the Rangers man who replaced the injured William Troost-Ekong in centre-back.

ZAIDU SANUSI 7/10
Not really at his best in the first half, but improved after the break.

OGHENEKARO ETEBO 8/10
The midfielder scored a sublime free-kick in the second half. Put up a commanding display alongside Alex Iwobi.

ALEX IWOBI 8/10
Seems to be enjoying life under Jose Peseiro. Full of life and dominated the midfield.

ADEMOLA LOOKMAN 7/10
Not a convincing performance from the Leicester City winger . Scored a goal and also provided an assist in the game.

MOSES SIMON 8/10
Started as the team’s captain and led his team well. Set up Victor Osimhen for the opening goal and scored the second

TEREM MOFFI 8/10
Got the nod to pair Victor Osimhen upfront ahead of Umar Sadiq and Cyriel Dessers. The Lorient forward took the opportunity well by scoring a brace.

VICTOR OSIMHEN 9/10
A remarkable display from the Napoli forward. Osimhen netted four times and also registered an assist.

SUBSTITUTES

AHMED MUSA 6/10
The team captain impressed after replacing Moses Simon early in the second half. He provided two assists.

SHEHU ABDULLAHI 6/10
Did well after replacing Ola Aina in the 58th minute.

LEON BALOGUN 5/10
Took the place of his former clubmate, Calvin Bassey in the 71st minute. Unlucky not to get a goal too.

UMAR SADIQ 4/10
The Almeria striker didn’t really do much following his introduction in the second half.

EMMANUEL DENNIS 5/10
He won and scored a penalty late in the game.
