Victor Osimhen will push for a reduction in the €110m price-tag which Napoli have slapped on him should he find a suitable suitor, according to Corriere dello sport via TuttoNapoli.

Italian publication, La Repubblica (via Napolipiu) revealed last week that Manchester United made a €100m offer to Napoli in a bid to sign their star striker, Osimhen this summer.

The Italian publication had revealed this on their website last week Thursday with Osimhen having been tipped to make his departure from Napoli to an English Premier League club.

Also according to Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper, Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda met Aurelio De Laurentiis and Cristiano Giuntoli last week to discuss the Red Devils’ offer.

Napoli do not consider Osimhen non-transferable while the Super Eagles star favours a Premier League switch, but the Serie A club is not ready to sell for less than 110 million euros.

And now also according to Tuesday’s report from Corrieredellosport via TuttoNapoli, Osimhen is prepared to push for a reduction in the price tag should he find a suitable suitor.

Arsenal and Newcastle United are among the English clubs interested in the striker with the Magpies possessing the financial strength to battle with Man United for Osimhen’s signature.

Osimhen is presently the most expensive African after his over 80 million euros move to Napoli from French Ligue 1 club-side, LOSC Lille back in the summer of the year 2020.

And the former Golden Eaglets star could smash that record should Napoli accept Man United’s offer which would also make him one of the Premier League club’s most expensive signings.
