Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus paid tribute to his Brazil team-mate Vinicius Junior with his goal celebration after notching against Brentford this afternoon.

The Gunners cruised to a 3-0 win against the Bees thanks to goals from Jesus, William Saliba and Pablo Vieira.

The win meant the Gunners returned to the top of the Premier League after their 3-1 defeat to last time out.

Jesus’ goal gave Arsenal a two-goal lead and it was the Brazilian’s fourth goal of the season following his move from .

The Brazil forward is known for his ‘phone rings’ celebration but he decided to mix it up against the Bees today in a nod to his compatriot Vinicius.

The Real Madrid winger has been criticised the season and told to ‘stop dancing’ after he scores.

Jesus tweeted earlier this week in defence of his friend, saying: ‘Dance, Vini’.

And in a clear message to Vinicius’ critics, Jesus decided to mix-up his celebration with a more animated version of his traditional dance.

Vinicius’ critics have been accused of being racist for their remarks on the winger’s decisions to dance when he celebrates.

One commentator even said he should ‘stop doing the monkey’ when he celebrates.

Vinicius is clear they he will not stop celebrating with daces and says the ‘racists’ will not deter him.

‘I will repeat it for you, racist: I am not going to stop dancing,’ Vinícius said.

‘I was victim of xenophobia and racism in a single declaration, but none of this began yesterday.’
