Ten Hag On Ronaldo
Erik ten Hag wants Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at Manchester United. He will be one of the first players Ten Hag talks to, and despite a massive rebuild being planned, which will include buying at least one striker, he wants Ronaldo to remain a key player.
Ronaldo has scored 24 goals in 37 games in all competitions this season and Ten Hag’s reasoning is that such a return is difficult to replace especially as he already has to consider the new players he is intending to sign.
Ten Hag is considering how to get the best out of #mufc with Ronaldo given he’s not as physically capable anymore. He isn’t averse to building his line-up around him, not least because he has so much work to do in other areas, to provide more chances for him.
Bruno Fernandes is extremely highly-rated by Erik ten Hag.
The indications are that Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to leave #mufc on the back of a season that has been a failure, however the United hierarchy, and Erik ten Hag, will not attempt to hold him to his contract if he wants to leave.
It is understood that Erik ten Hag is planning three major signings during the next window as the first step towards what will be a significant overhaul of #mufc’s squad.
