Tottenham boss has made it clear that he will have no problem with dropping Son Heung-min, or any of his biggest players, as the South Korean continues to struggle for form at the start of the season.

After a stunning campaign last time around saw him score 23 Premier League goals, things have not started off well this time around for the 30-year-old who has failed to scored in seven games in all competitions.

There is more competition for places up front for Spurs this season after the arrival of Richarlison over the summer, with , Dejan Kulusevski and Son competing for three places in the forward line.

Tottenham go to Sporting in the on Tuesday night and Conte says that no one’s place in the first team is safe, as should be the case in big teams looking to compete for trophies on multiple fronts.

‘I think when you try to build something important, with ambition and try to be competitive and win, you have to change old habits, otherwise you stay in balance and you don’t want to have ambition,’ Conte told a press conference on Monday.

‘For this reason all the players have to accept that rotation is part of this aspect. We have four players [up front] and it’s very difficult right now to drop one. I have to take the best decision, sometimes for the players. Sometimes it’s better to come in for 20-30 minutes for them.

‘I’m here to change the habit. The habit was that the players were used to playing all the time. Big clubs have a big squad. At the moment we don’t have a big squad but we have just started this process.’

Conte is not short of options, if he does want to rotate his team, as he confirmed that only Lucas Moura is unavailable in Portugal this week.

‘Same squad available as the last match. Only Lucas Moura is still out,’ said the Italian. ‘His recovery is going well but I think we’ll see him after the international break. The others are all available.’
