An Indiana woman has been accused of using an Apple AirTag to track down and kill a man she believed was cheating on her.

Gaylyn Morris, 26, allegedly drove up to an Indianapolis pub and struck Andre Smith, 26, with her car three times earlier this month.

While at the pub, Morris told a witness that she used an Apple AirTag, a tracking device intended to help find lost items, and a GPS to follow Smith to the bar because he was meeting up with another woman.

Morris also told the witness that Smith was her boyfriend and that he was cheating on her, according to the IndyStar. She then picked up an empty wine bottle and told the witness she was going to beat up the woman Smith had been with.

She reportedly swung the bottle at the woman but Smith caught it and got in between the two women. All three were asked to leave but the woman who was with Smith had stayed inside to wait for a food order.

Once outside the bar, Morris got into her car and plowed Smith down, according to investigators and witnesses at the scene.

While outside the bar, Morris ‘pulled forward and clipped the victim (Smith), and he went down, at which time… (Morris) then backed over him and then pulled forward and hit him for the third time,’ a witness told police.

Morris then got out of her car and tried to go after the other woman, but she was detained by police officers at the scene.

Morris was arrested shortly after and charged with murder. Smith was found by first responders underneath the vehicle. Medics with the Indianapolis Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene, and a local coroner determined he died from intentionally being hit by a vehicle.
